Johnny Logan - What's another year

The first time Johnny Logan won Eurovision was in 1980. He did it with the song "What's another year" with a total of 143 points, 15 more than Germany, the second classified. It was a wonderful song.

This year, it was the first and only participation of Maroc in the contest, getting the 18th place from 19 countries.

It was the first time the points were given by ascending order, from 1 points until 12 (removing 9 and 11) to the 10 favorite songs of every country.
