It was the 28th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held in munich. This year the voting was announced in three languages instead of two, so it was the first time the festival got a duration of more than 3 hours of emission.

This year, Cornine Hermès got the festival with a total of 142, only 6 more than the second classified, Israel with the song "Hi".

Two countries got 0 points on their account, Spain and Turkey. No chance!
