The annual festival "Eurovision Song Contest" was hold in Luxembourg in 1973. This country won the competition by fourth time, the second time consecutively. With Israel as a debuting country.

This year, Luxembourg won with a total of 129 points, just four more than the second classified, Spain with Mocedades and their song "Eres tu".
